LV Panel Gang Powers Up At Canary Wharf

The team at LV Panel Gang is proud to have successfully completed a challenging power upgrade for a prestigious theatre project, working in cooperation with JPO Project Consulting, who have provided a dedicated project management resource for Troubadour Theatres to create London’s newest theatre venue at Canary Wharf.

Located at the heart of London’s financial district, the new Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is a state-of-the-art venue seating 1200, purpose-built to host the world première of the stage adaptation of The Hunger Games in October 2025. This is theatre in the round, placing spectators close to the action and providing the very best in staged entertainment for the first-ever theatre adaptation of the world-renowned Suzanne Collins novel.

LV Panel Gang became involved in the project earlier this year, completing the cable pulling element of the work, bringing in a high voltage electrical supply to the theatre location through conduits, managing tight spaces and multiple bends.

Limited space for the electrical installation itself meant that JPO and Troubadour required a purpose-designed panel to fit a very tight space. With short timescales and the production scheduled to open in weeks, they turned again to LV Panel Gang to provide a bespoke solution.

Designed, built and installed within a four-week time window, the team completed the project successfully and on time, including glanding cables into the panel and powering up.

The brand-new Troubadour Canary Wharf theatre now has a robust and reliable power supply ready to serve this exciting and groundbreaking production.
